Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. She is a reporter covering everything starting with NASA and the Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of space tourism. Kristin is the daughter of NASA astronauts and an avid space fan, grew up immersed within the space industry. She spent five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump Administrations. In that period she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign and two attempts by the administration to stop the pandemic of coronavirus. She traveled extensively with both the president and vice-president also included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan, which she took together with Donald Trump. Before becoming a part of the company in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through the local news channels including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her expertise behind the camera in 2014. The firm specialized on producing documentaries for corporate clients, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. Kristin is married with a daughter and 3-year-old daughter in Washington, D.C.
